Global Ties Arkansas was asked to organize a special day for a visit from His Excellency Shaikh Abdulla Rashed Al Khalifa, Ambassador to the U.S., Kingdom of Bahrain. We are deeply indebted to our Board member Rush Deacon for the tremendous accomplishment of gathering a stellar group of Arkansas executives to meet the ambassador on such short notice, pictured here at the Country Club of Little Rock. The four men pictured are Larry Walther, Arkansas Treasurer, His Excellency, Ambassador to the U.S., Randy Zook, President and CEO of the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce, and on the far right, Hugh McDonald, Secretary of Commerce. His Excellency and his staff traveled the next day to northwest Arkansas to visit Tyson Chicken and other corporations there.
